There are numerous "Lists" out there, some better than others! I guess you are listed in many, but are they regularly maintained? Is your site lost at number 101? Or worse does it never show up at all?
Maximilian Genealogy has 1000's hits daily and regularly gets on page 1 from many keyword searches on all the major search engines. Adding your site to this list will expose your work to a wider audience.
It is hoped that this list will provide a home for all sites that maintain good Genealogy Data, but also Historic content.
If you believe your site fits this category, please add your site to the list. If you are not sure try anyway. Your site will be reviewed and you will receive email notification.
The list will be re-set at the start of each month, so everyone will have an equal chance to get to the top!!
By putting more links to this list on your site pages, the better chance of getting a higher ranking you will have..But please make sure you do place the code somewhere on your site,(As many places as possible) otherwise you will be stuck at the bottom of the list forever!!!!
As of July 2007 I have re-designed the list and am awaiting for approx 70 existing members to re-join & place new code on their sites. So if you join now you will sure to have a great chance of being near the top of the list!
